Met lovely Stacey running the Wolf Ranch Farmers Market booth like a boss last Saturday, customer-filled nearly the whole time! The Patty's cake and pecan cinnamon roll were divine, which I then elevated with Wicked Provision's Blueberry Seduction hot sauce. Words don't do it justice, but I let my inner-fat-kid absolutely indulge. 10/10, will get glorious gluten from that gal again!

We are so lucky to have the bakery in our neighborhood! I love everything about it—the food and the people. We buy a loaf of their bread weekly and I have zero guilt eating it because everything is organic, no filler ingredients. It’s basically the only bread I eat now, it kind of ruined me for everything else! But don’t sleep on their lunch menu... I crave the chicken salad and my husband loves the pastrami sandwich. The kids are obsessed with the grilled cheese and their cinnamon rolls. We love the take and bake brioche rolls and cinnamon rolls for special occasions. The owners and their family are absolute gems—just the nicest people and they care a lot about their business. Everything they make is very high-quality and they say they won’t serve anything that they wouldn’t give to their own kids. You can also buy bread-making tools, sourdough starter, and a number of local and specialty groceries in their marketplace. If you haven’t checked it out yet, do yourself a favor! You can also get their bread at certain grocery stores in Austin and the Wolf Ranch Farmers Market in Georgetown.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Stopped by Sanford's Sourdough Company for the first time because I was on the hunt for some really good sourdough bread, and I'm so glad I did! The manager was incredibly friendly and welcoming. When I mentioned it was my first visit, she even gave me half off my first loaf, which was such a nice surprise. Once I got the bread home, I realized this is easily some of the best sourdough I've had. You can tell they know what they're doing. I also learned ownership is originally from the San Francisco Bay Area, which makes perfect sense after tasting the bread. I didn't realize they were a full sandwich shop too, so I'll definitely be back to try the sandwiches next time. Highly recommend this place if you're looking for authentic, delicious sourdough and great customer service!

Sanford Sourdough Bakery and Market is truly a gem. Small, family owned business. The owners are lovely. The bread is fantastic and clearly made with care. If there is something specific you want, I’d recommend ordering ahead or showing up early because it goes quickly. They also make a delicious sandwiches. The pastrami sandwich was excellent and definitely worth ordering. Great spot to meet up for lunch. It is my new favorite spot to go. A wonderful alternative to a typical coffee shop. If you appreciate great bread, excellent sandwiches, and a cozy place to relax, this spot is absolutely worth a visit.

Love pretty much everything about this place! Staff is friendly, their baked goods, and of course our favorites are their sourdough, the sourdough cinnamon rolls, and snickerdoodle cookies!! We love to pick a few items up and save them in the freezer (they come in handy and they warm up nicely). Their sourdough bread has the perfect sourness and the texture is light, and airy. The prices are reasonable and comparable to other places but the texture of their sourdough is top-notch 👌🏻 If you love sweet, pick up their (sourdough) cinnamon rolls, they are delicious! They also have the ready-bake variety in the fridge and it comes with citrus icing (but I like to go easy on it as it’s very sweet if you’re not careful). All in all, we love this place and frequently visit! If you are like us and do not eat bread often; go buy from Sanford and save all your time and effort making sourdough from scratch, just sit back and enjoy! 😉
